Think about it.
What was your life like 10 years ago (when email was still in it's infancy)? You had to write letters, fold them up and stuff them in an envelope, pay atleast 30 cents on postage, and take that envelope out to the nearest mailbox. The postman would then make his daily pick up. Three to four days later, your letter arrived at it's destination. Just saying a simple "hey - what's up?" took 3 to 4 days.
Today -- you can shoot off as many emails as you want to all your friends -- and they arrive at their destination instantaneously. Even if it's just simply saying "hey - what's up?" , you're staying connected with people more than ever before. You correspond frequently with friends and relatives you never would have sent an actual LETTER to. Email has brought the world closer together than any other "invention" in the history of the world.
